On 6th October 2024, the Indian women’s cricket team will compete against the Pakistan women’s cricket team at the ICC T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates.
The tournament is less than a month away and preparations are swiftly underway.
Ahead of the tournament , the India Women’s cricket team will undergo a 10-day skill camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
The women in blue will also partake in intra-squad day matches followed by a 4-day recovery and rest period.
Subsequently, they will return to Mumbai and pack their bags for the UAE.
All stakes are high for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2024.
Before the Ind vs Pak match on Sunday, 6th October, team India will engage in two warm-up games.
The first game will be played against the West Indies cricket team on September 29.
The second warm-up game will be played on October 1, two days before the tournament begins, against South Africa, at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

Under the aggressive captaincy of all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur, the India women’s national cricket team is hopeful to bring back the trophy this year.

The Pakistan Women’s cricket team will have their first match on the first day of the tournament itself. The women in green will compete against Sri Lanka on the 3rd of October.

The year 2024 marks the 9th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Of the eight previous tournaments, the Australian women’s cricket team has impressively claimed the title six times.
Meanwhile, arch-rivals Ind vs Pak are yet to secure a win in the competition.
India holds the 3rd position in the WT20I rankings, while Pakistan is ranked 8th.
